Product performance:

These calcium alginate wound dressings are made of alginate fibres. When exudate from awound comes in contact with the dressing, the sodium alginate present in the fibres absorbsthe exudative fluid to form a soft gel. The soft gel is intended to create a moist wound environ-ment at the wound surface to promote wound healing. The gel formed by the dressing doesnot adhere to the delicate healing tissues in the wound bed.
